NE Ross Street-Stormwater

According to the Washington State Department of Ecology (DOE), stormwater runoff is the leading threat to Washington’s urban waters, streambeds, banks and habitats. With funding assistance from a DOE grant, the improved stormwater system will help treat pollutants in rain and snow runoff from the street before it enters nearby Burnt Bridge Creek. Schedules may change due to weather or other construction conditions.

Western UCG was retained to safely construct and improve stormwater systems that would enhance water quality and reduce pollution. 

Our work included Installation of two (2) bioretention stormwater facilities, including plants; and two (2) infiltration systems, including four (4) total drywells. We also installed subsurface perforated pipes, storm mains, structures, and connect into the existing storm system and other work
